Default 2002 Silver 19L HiLo for sale

I'm selling my 2002 Silver addition 19L HiLo. I bought 2 years ago and have replaced everything that needed to be replaced...awning, kitchen sick(stainless), skylight over bath, roof vent, new battery, tires are like new, coated roof. For the good part I moved the shower out of the bathroom area to where the closet was that held cloths on hangers. It works really well and there is room to take a real shower...lol...not sitting on the toilet. I'm looking to get 5000.00 if interested please hit me up. Everything inside and out is in really great shape i would not have it any other way.

Located in So California

Thanks
Bill

Joe:
Welcome to the forum, and hope you find a Hi-Lo! The post to which you're responding is from 2014, so it's unlikely that this unit is still for sale. But, keep looking! Look on RVTrader.com, and keep an eye on this forum. Be patient, they're worth the wait!
Good luck!

Here's a 22' located in CA:

There's a checklist that was developed and has been circulated widely on this forum. Here ya go:

Basically, start with the visual items –
1. Exterior
• Look for water stains and discoloration on inside walls and around ceiling anywhere vents, skylights, windows, etc. exist.
• Push and prod with your hand on the inside walls for soft spots (which could indicate a water leak and a damaged or rotten interior wall).
• Check for bubbles in the wallpaper (a sign of delimitation or water intrusion)
2. Interior cleanliness of the unit-
• Look for water stains and discoloration on inside walls and around ceiling anywhere vents, skylights, windows, etc. exist.
• Push and prod with your hand on the inside walls for soft spots (which could indicate a water leak and a damaged or rotten interior wall).
• Check for bubbles in the wallpaper (a sign of delimitation or water intrusion)
3. Test appliance functions –
• lights
• fans
• refrigerator
• air conditioner
• heater
• water pump
• range hood
• stovetop
• oven (if equipped)
• microwave (if equipped)
• stereo (if equipped)
4. Lift System-
• Does the unit raise and lower properly
• Check the lift system for hydraulic leaks (puddle under the trailer)
• Check the lift cables to see if they are in good shape and not frayed
• Check the seal between the upper and lower body halves for tears or damage
5. fill the tanks to the top and check for leaks
6. Battery
7. Solar Panel (if equipped)

There's also an awesome set of videos on YouTube that give instructions on operating the various components. Here's one in the series, and it will lead you to others (by Sting32).

Many of the systems in a Hi Lo are the same in other RVs, but there are some differences (like raising/lowering) that you should review.

Be careful in checking for past water damage.....it seems to be a problem that shows up with some frequency. Of course, this is true for most RVs.

Good luck in your search!

Hey Jomamma

I am in Ukiah..I am somewhat new to Hilos. However I have had to figure them out very quick. I have an 84 that sat in a field for years and took on damage everywhere that I almost have all fixed after about 3 months now. I know of no other hilos in our area but if you find one and need any help I would be happy to tell you what I have figured out through lots of questions and answers through this forum
