Default 2007 28C - Testing for interest.

Hello all.

I have a 2007 28C that I would be interesting in parting with, wanted to gauge the interest and determine an accurate asking price.

The trailer is in great condition, roof has no signs of extensive wear and the exterior is in top shape. The interior remains original with no tears or wear in carpet or upholstery. Covered as often as possible, parked under awnings or roof coverage as necessary.

Adult owned and maintained, the cables pullies and lift assemblies have recently been replaced by a certified tech. Solar panel is factory installed, fresh water tanks are clean. Very limited in what was put into the grey and black tanks, dumped and cleaned frequently.

Included in the asking price would be all of the original equipment, some additional convenience accessories and a full load level hitch system. For the right asking price, the trailer could be delivered to roughly 300-350 miles from 85714.

I think the conversation about asking price would start around $12K.

Of course, pics and more information would be available to the serious interest.

OK, I'm going to ask potentially silly questions so please bear with me. You're a haul from me, but so is every Hi-Lo on the planet it seems.
What is the overall weight of this unit?
1 or 2 furnaces / air conditioners?
Cables replaced at any point?
Maintenance done in the past say 4 or 5 years?
Aluminum, fiberglass or rubber roof (seems Hi-Lo used all three at one point or another).
Tires last replaced in what year?

And Yes, I'm almost interested enough.

Thanks,
Dave Watkins

Default 2007 HiLo 28'

Hi Dave,

No such thing as a "potentially silly question," right?

What is the overall weight of this unit? Product literature has it in at about 5500lb dry (no water, empty tanks, storage empty, etc..) Tongue weight is 800lbs.
1 or 2 furnaces / air conditioners? - 1 furnace, 1 air conditioner
Cables replaced at any point? The cables to the rear passenger side were replaced as a precaution before I picked it up. The trained professional (used to work as a distributor and maintenance on HiLo at the factory) did the work.
Maintenance done in the past say 4 or 5 years? Besides the service and inspection when I picked it up, I have kept it covered and lubed/oiled all the required points, per the manufacturers recommendation.
Aluminum, fiberglass or rubber roof (seems Hi-Lo used all three at one point or another). Yes, yes, and yes. The frame is aluminum and light weight with fiberglass body panels in most areas. The EPDM (rubber coating) on the roof is an elastomer that is defect free, no rips, tears or cracks.
Tires last replaced in what year? (2) of the (4) tires were replaced when I picked it up last year (2020.) The spare tire has fresh rubber on it. All 5 tires have tread depth that is within the spec limit.

Dm me and I'll provide email and phone information. Thanks for the message.

For what it's worth, the ZIP code is in Tucson, AZ. I-10 would get you there from southern Texas.
