Looking for HiLo
It would be helpful if you could narrow your search down to a classic or towlite. How many ft. What tow vehicle would you be using? What is your price range?

Looking for a HiLo
We too live in Southern California, while visiting with grandkids in Las Vegas we found ours on Craiglist. I have founds others on craiglist you might have to travel but it will be worth it to get the right one.

2005 31' Classic, like new!
We are selling our 31 foot classic HiLo. It is a 2005, purchased for use by the dealer and parked by him for a little over a year. We bought it in summer 2006. It has all the bells and whistles, solar, King Dome, gas/elec hot water, tip out, walk around full size queen bed with real mattress. Front kitchen, air/heat, generator, big front window, complete weight-distributing hitch package (everything you need to drive it home). $15,900. We are located in the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado about 4 hours north of Albuquerque and 4 hours south of Denver. Interested? Reasonable offers will be considered.

2193 Funlite
Hi, we bought this a couple of months back; then found another that we liked better. I wish we had just stayed with this one. I've been working through the problems. Had to replace a couple of tires, a valve on the hwh, an unknown fuse /switch that wouldn't let the battery recharge, a pump problem. I've recaulked most of one side. Really need to re-caulk the other side, but the weather isn't permitting. Live in Wa., where it rains alot in this season. We're asking $5000., which isn't quite what we have in it, but close enough.
It has a three burner stovetop, no oven, an antenna, cable ready, and stabilizer jacks in front and back (solid with those down). I actually thought of taking the stabilizer jacks off for my other trailer...grin.

Copy the pictures to your computer. I honestly think $10,000 is a bit high for a 14 year old trailer, but you can check the NADA guide.

Trouble is, you are not going to recover the cost of repairs. They will just make the trailer acceptable to buy. The same thing happens if you sell a house or a car. Very few people want to buy something that needs a lot of work to be acceptable.
We've just sold two homes, so we're very familiar with this phenomenon. And, the brand new tires, $1200.00 worth on my old truck, did not add to the trade in value either (I had not planned to sell the truck when I bought the tires).
