Default Towlite wanted

I'm looking for a 2003 thru 2007 Hi-Lo 22 feet long(so I can tow it with a toyota tacoma) Towlite in california or oregan. I'm watching all of the web, and hopeing something pops-up. I'm looking at these years because of the alumium framing and larger holding tanks.

Just purcased a 06 22ft towlite, found it in california. Great condition, it was stored in a garage. Getting it ready for winter camping.

Your 2006 should be before they used the crap foam in the couch and the dinette cushions. We bought the 2209 for the same reason, aluminum framing. Just remember your 2006 is heavier than the 97TL, I had 550 lb bars on my WDH for the 95TL which worked great, had to increase them to 750 lb bars for the 2209. The 550 bars at max just didn't do the job, had more sway than I liked and an uncomfortable feeling, the 750 bars fixed all that.

Sorry, I forgot to say enjoy your new trailer, we like ours very much.

PopRichie,

This trailer appears to have the "carp" foam in the couch and dinette cushions. It surprises us that the cushions in the 97 held up better than those in the 5-year old trailer. We are looking at replacing the cushions in the dinette. We have already made a "platform" bed out of the couch. We choose to keep a bed made up at all times and forget about the couch

The 2206 came with a WDH hitch. So it looks like we may be selling the old WDH from the 97.

You can buy 5" foam on eBay pretty reasonable, and replace the foam your self, it can be cut with a serrated bread knife. I made a mistake and got 4 inch because the cushions had collapsed so much, then I found out it was 5", started with the medium firm, which I would recommend, but the wife decided she wanted the firm, so we got the 5" firm as she sleeps on the dinette bed, was still cheaper than having someone else do it. I haven't decided what to do with the couch but think I will convert it to a full time single bed. At our ages crawling over one or the other to go to the bath room at night is out of the question.

Default inding the towlite you wanted.

Congrats on finding the towlite you wanted.Read the comment about the crummy cushions in the couch and dinette. Do you wonder why HiLo went out of business when they use inferior products.? They always want top doller for inferior products.
