Default 2010 1810H Overall Length

Help,
We are considering a new 1810. The brochure states the length at 17' 9" without spare.
1. Does the length include the tongue?
2. How much space is saved by the detachable Tongue?

Jim and Sally
El Campo de la Pesca
Sahuarita Arizona
Ford F-150
Porta Bote
x Thor Hurricane 30Q

HI
Yes the length includes the tongue and if it is detachable it shortens the length by 2 ft. This is according to the 2009 brochure. You will love the hi-lo especially the increase in fuel mileage.

Add about 9 to 12" for the spare tire. It can be removed from the holder if you need to squeeze into a tight space.

Default Looks like it will fit

All,
Thanks for all the help. I wasn't sure if our F150 crewcab and the 1810H would fit in our standard 2 car garage, but if I move the water filter and softner it fits!

I forgot to mention that the height of the 1810H is about 83" and may not fit into a standard height garage door. You may want to check your door opening. You may gain some clearance by removing the A/C cover. That would be okay if you are only garaging it over the winter.
