Default How do I use this forum?

What is a thread? How can I tell the length of the trailer such as a 2009? Where do I post a want ad? What is a tag and how is it used? What are trackbacks? Mistygarden c_lmortensen@yahoo.com

You can find the answers to most of your forum questions by doing a Google Search. For instance, I typed in "thread forums" for your first question, and this is one of the hits: Internet forum - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The length of a HiLo is the first two digits of its model number. A 22 ft trailer made in 2009 would have a model number like "2209". Mine is 17 ft, a Towlite, in the 2007 model year or "1707T"

There is also a link up at the top of the screen for FAQ, which is "Frequently Asked Questions"

There is a lot of useful information in there for the use of this forum.

What you started here was a thread, and what I am adding to it is a post.

Default 1996 21' Tow Lite

Good evening. My husband and I just recently purchased a 1996 Tow Lite and after some restoration are looking forward to using it. We were wondering if anyone out there knows what size the gray and black holdings are? Thanks.

Default Good morning, Garden

or may I call you Misty?

About a month ago I was you, with little camper knowledge and NO experience. And now I'm a near know it all (the wife is the know it all and I'm near her).

But you've come to the right place. Just ask questions, like you've just done, then come back and read the replies. Enjoy.

Hi, My dad has a Tow-Lite trailer (I think I saw a post that said that is the same as Hi-Lo) that he has had stored for years. I'd like to fix it up and start using it. Where do I find the model number and year that you described? Thanks!

Howdy! You have to look for a "tag". Mine has one on the inside next to the door, and there's one on the lower half at the front corner on the left (street) side. But, I think they might have put them in different places depending on the model year. And, your Dad's trailer may have lost its tags. The one on the inside in mine is just a gummed paper tag, which is not too durable.

TowLite is a model type for HiLo trailers. Mine is a TowLite and is indicated by the "T" in the number - 1707T.

Default TowLite

Thanks for the info and for the welcome. I'll try to get a photo posted of his trailer. Hopefully, the tag is still intact there!

Welcome aboard! Just noticed your forum name and was thinking it is going to confuse one of the forum members here for sure! Ask questions as many here have a lot of information to share.
