cware, there is also a big towing section in the forum, RV.net. A lot of great information there with input from part-timers and full-timers towing all sizes and weights of recreational vehicles, if you can wade through the crap of "my truck is better than your truck" comments. Hey, I just noticed; we are the same age!!

Dee;" Hey, I just noticed; we are the same age!! "

Ya",but I feel older in this cold, windy MI weather!
After Valentines lunch yesterday my bride and I (48yrs.) parked at the beach to watch the wind/waves and snow on Lk.MI.
We needed the Jeep heater at full blast to keep warm with the wind buffeting the vehicle around and yet, there were kids out on the ice pack!

Hey, if I haven't said it enough, I really appreciate the help you and the others on this forum have provided.-J

cware, it looks like you made lemons into lemonade for Valentine's Day. You and dear wife have us beat by three years of wedded bliss. I know nothing about Yukons since we have never owned one. However, all I can say is get the four-wheel drive. It does take a little from your towing capacity, but there is no doubt that you live in a treacherous environment, especially weatherwise. Four-wheel drive would seem to be a necessity. Except for hurricanes, we don't have snow blizzards in lower South Carolina. However, a freak occurrence did happen at Christmas in 1988. Lots of luck doing your research.
