Default Looking for advice

Hello from a newbie!
I'm looking at a 1981 Hi-lo model 2181T on Craigslist that is priced at $4200 The owner has rebuilt and replaced many parts and the trailer looks nice from the pics I've seen. It's located about 3 1/2 hours away and I don't want to waste a trip but is this a decent price for a unit of this vintage? Any other details or hints you can provide would be much appreciated.
Thanks!!

seems kinda high, but there is much more than pictures to look at. I would look at cables and seals, meaning top to bottom seals, next would be the wood used on the bottom of the top half that is usually under some aluminum sheet metal, next floor from underneath, is it still covered or is the wood exposed.
check for leaks in all water lines under pressure(from a garden hose or with water tank filled and pomp on), check for roof leaks, and musty smells, check water heater, stove ,oven heat and cooling systems, fridge on 110v and gas and 12v check wheel bearings, brakes, tires outlets, wireing, lights, wall delamination from inside and outside , check maitainence records. If all things seem to be in absolute tip-top shape and you absolutly love the trailer, then compare this unit with ones on oodle.com/hi-lo this is where I found most hi-los for sale or craigslist or e-bay . Its a lot of research and looking, but the all-mighty dollar is hard to come by and I hate to see people get taken advantage of. We would love to have any and all people in our forum , the more views from concerned people the better! Best of luck in finding your dream.

Thanks for the response. I copied the info in the "for sale" ad (above) and there are lots of pics but I don't want to clutter up the server. Just by looking at the description, it would appear that the owner has done the right updates and maintenance but I'll have to wait until next weekend to look at it.
