Default 2006 hi-lo camper-advice needed-stat

I am looking at a classic and the dealer wants aprox $5000.00 for it, it appears to be in good shape and I printed off the checklist of "used RV buying guide" so will have that when I go to see it today...Need to know if this is a good price and what to look for other than what is on the list...I really love it!! also what size truck do I need to pull it...I was looking at a silverado with the towing package but it is a 1500 not sure if this is strong enough..THANKS Barbara

Without the model/length it is hard to say what it is worth. It can be a 2306C, a 2506C, or a 2806C. Look at the NADAGuides pricing and you will get a relative price for all the models. Click on the model you are looking at. The listing also tells what the empty weights are on those models. 2006 Hi Lo Price, 2006 Hi Lo Values & 2006 Hi Lo Specs | NADAguides

You should look up the tow vehicle on Travel Trailers, Trailer Camping, 5th Wheels, and Trailer how Tos and see what the tow rating is for that vehicle. They have towing guides for every make and model year.

Also, look here for the Hi-Lo brochure and you can see some weight and capacity figures. http://www.hilotrailerforum.com/f52/...llection-5123/

Once you have all that information you can put together a proper combination of trailer and tow vehicle.
