Default 2006 Towlite questions

We bought new a 2006 Hi-Lo towlite and have a couple of questions for other owners.... The plastic coated cable loop by the raise and lower electric panel. Anyone ever make a lever connected to it making it easier to pull and hold out while raising and lowering?.It's kind of a simple not very smart invention. The plastic straps that hold the tip out door as well. We have replaced these too-any better ideas to replace them with something different? Thanks Randy

Default Welcome to the forum

I don't know the answer to your questions. I can tell you That we have owned our HiLo for twenty years and have never had a problem with the loop that you pull to raise and lower the HiLo. My unit doesn't have a tipout.

You only have to pull on the cable when first lowering the top, when the top has lowered a short ways you can release the cable. The safety catch drops into place itself when you raise the top.
