Has anyone used one of the electronic stud finders to fine the aluminum roof frame cross pieces?
I looked at the reviews on them and there are as many bad or more than good reviews.
I want to mount my 100 watt solar panel and I don't like the idea of just screwing it fast to the paneling. Looks like this is what Hi-Lo did with the small solar panels. I am afraid that due to the size air or wind while driving might pull it loose. It's not just the cost of the panel that concerns me, having it smash into someones windshield could cause a bad accident. I have had this thing over a year and it's time I got it mounted. Finding the framing has held me up.
