Default another question

I got this funchaser hi lo and have been learning and going through it and found it to be sound up till I hooked the water up...seems to be leaking at the heater....I am sure this is going to have to be taken out and replaced
1-how do you get the bunk out?
2-can this be replaced cost effective with same type or newer elect instant use type?

If the tank is aluminum and has a split in it from freezing, it can be welded.
I have a old used one that I would sell for $50.00, it has a rusty door and some rust inside the door but it does work, but you are to far away, shipping cost would not make it worth it.
Check ebay but again shipping will be high.
