Default Anyone have a name for your tow vehicle or HiLo

We call our F250 the "tank." One reason is because it guzzles gas and is so big to drive with the extended cab and eight foot bed. I would have to call our 1990 HiLo"old faithful." It may need major repairs from time to time but it holds up in severe weather. Many times it holds up better than newer trailers.

Our tv ('07 speedway blue Tacoma) is BluTaco. Haven't formally named the HiLo but I'm leaning towards "the box" cause it's white like an old refrigerator also known as the ice box and because Madison our dog is told to "box!" when we want her in her crate at bedtime.

I tend to refer to my F150 as "The Ferd". My Honda Accord is "The Hounda". I haven't thought up a good (or bad) name for the HiLo.

Madison our dog is
not very imaginative either.

My mostly sheppard is Otis but (in all fairness) he came to us that way.
The boxer is Sassy, same story with the pre-existing name.
Maxx, in the middle, was just visiting.

Now I don't have any affectionate names for any vehicles or the hi-lo.
And since this is a family oriented site I won't mention some names they all have been called in the past.
Obviously non-affectionate.
But I still love them just the same!

I call our 33b, "The Beast", cause it's so big. I have to reserve pull thru spaces because I can't back it up very well yet. The F-150 is just the truck.

No disrespect intended Wrascal. Since this is all in fun just had to pick on you.

Madison the dog came that way also, the late Guinness Extra Stout was a big boned deep chested chocolate Lab with a little creamy white "froth" on her front toes.

We call our Hi-Lo the Escape Pod , and even have its name on the back bumper. We use it to Escape the Hot Arizona summer , and I think in the down position it looks like some kind of escape Pod.

Good name Lark. My '68 Ford Camper Special is General Sherman. Our '04 Dakota is Dodger. The w on the letters on the back of the Tow Lite is peeling so I sometimes affectionately call it Toi-Lite.
Our Tortoise shell cat is also named Guinness.

Great name for a tortoise shell cat! The coloration is almost perfect, isn't it? The one I had for 14 years was named "Dustmop". She was actually a beauty, but had long hair and was a stray when I adopted her. At that time, the name fit.

Default Name for tow vehicles and HILo

Off topic. My cat is a male and when he stretches out he has quite a length to him. He is part macoon. When we got him as a stray kitten I named him Furby as he is a furball of energy.

My son-in-law's and daughter's 1989 22' Funchaser is called Miss Daisy. He had the name made in vinyl lettering for the front and back.

Default Nick names

Our 2000 HiLo was nick-named "Truly" Scrumptious by our then 7 year old daughters after watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on a campout and our friends fondly named their older yellow sided HiLo "Old Yeller" also after the Disney film!

I call my tow vehicle (1994 suburban, blue in color) "the burb" and the trailer is nicknamed "the mobile fishing shack" since we only use it when we go to the lake. (sam rayburn in zavalla, tx from Alvin, tx)

My 61 little Hi-Lo is named Chiclet (like the gum) as she's square like that.
