Default battery hookup

the way i have my battery hookedup incase its down with a dead battery is i got a old set of jumper clamps i cut one end off and put one of these on the cut end then i ran a set of 4 gauge wires from the battery out the front of the pump battery box where the trailer wiers are run out.i left about 10 inches stick out then put another connector on them i got mine off ebay.and i put another on from the battery out the grill so i can jump from it if needed.

Sounds like a good idea, if the battery or solenoid is not accessible. The fiber glass battery compartment cover can be removed from my 95 T with the top down and the battery is in the front, no problem jumping it. On the 2209 T, the front part of the battery compartment is hinged and opens with the top down, batteries are in the back of the compartment but the solenoid can easily be jumped if they are dead.

Default Dead Battery....

I keep a solar panel connected to my battery at all times and my battery always stays charged. I also connected a digital volt meter which stays under the hinged portion of the battery compartment for monitoring the ready state of the battery. I have a 2207T.
