Default camping memberships

I have not seen any threads on this forum about the use of discounted membership sites for reduced camping costs.
I have seen many in magazines and the web.
Are YOU are member of a discount club for rv sites?

Always looking to save money. That is why I use the US Parks pass for seniors or camp on BLM. But when you need to be near a city, the use of a membership would make since.

What/who do you use, and what has been your experience regarding membership costs and return?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Default discounts

For us Passport America works well...we live in florida and enjoy camping in the off season for 3 or 4 days at a time. We often will take a longer trip for a couple of the weeks up to the mountains....

We've stayed at many state parks but I had never heard of a park-pass until today (I saw another poster talking about it). Do you just get the info for this off of the national parks website?

Yes, the parks pass info is on their site. $10 or $20 if by mail.
It don't think it works for state parks, just US/national parks, BLM, etc.
I am sure it will save me that much the very first time I use it.

Default Parks Pass

U.S. National Park ServiceAmerica the Beautiful ? The National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Pass Series

There are or were a couple of states that took the pass. I think Louisiana is one of them, but the NPS website indicates that they can not be used at state parks.
