Hi. I have a 1995 21 foor hilo. I am thinking about buying a 2007 cadillac srx 4.7 6cyl with the v92 towing package. can I use this to pull the hilo. My other option is a 2007 v8 dodge durango, what are the pros and cons of pulling with each. Will a stabilizer bar help out with the cadillac. thanks for your help.::confused:

The 95 T weights about 3800 lbs loaded, the classic is a more, you need to check the tow ratings of both, the dodge should be no problem, you should use an equalizer hitch on either one. Keep the trailer weight at or less than 85% the max tow rating of the TV for easy towing. The Cad may be marginal.

Just looked up the 2007 SRX Cad. it has a tow rating of 4250 lbs.that's with a 3.23:1 axle ratio, it will tow a 95 21' Towlite model but it will struggle in the mountains. I personally wouldn't do it. But that's my opinion. If the tow package comes with a lower axle ratio then it will be ok.
