Default Can someone explain what is so Fantastic about the Fantastic Fan?

Just like the title says... I know our 28 ft HiLo Classic has the Fantastic Fan, and it looks to be a reversible fan in the rear area over the queen bed, but not sure why this thing is almost $350 to buy new, or what the benefits are of having one.

I think ours might not work, but I only tried it on battery power, so I need to try again with the trailer plugged in.

If someone could enlighten me, that would be awesome!

Default Fantastic Fan

vdubn we also have a Fantastic Fan over the bed in our 2805C. It is reversible and it is also variable speed and has a thermostat. Can't remember ever trying it on battery power because running something like that is a no no when we camp without hook ups, in fear of running the battery down. But we have enjoyed it a lot when camping in weather that is cool. Have also used it to draw out hot air in the camper before cutting on the AC. We have really enjoyed ours and I think you will too once you give it a try.
Hope this helps.
God Bless
Papa

it moves about a 100 times more air either in or out of your hi at a controlled rate adjusted by you instead of a 3" fan blade on a stock setup

And, (if I read the specs right) it draws less current than the Mattell toy fans that were OEM in the HiLos. That's why I installed one in my trailer. I like it a lot, and use it when boondock camping. With the thermostat, we can leave it "on" during the day when we're out hiking and it comes on as needed to help keep things cooler.
