Default Can you add a manual lift?If didn't come with it?

Is there a way to add a manual lift to a hi lo that only has the battery motor lift ? One that did not come with the manual lift option.

Since the "manual lift" is built into the hydraulic pump, I suppose if you replaced your pump with the manual lift one, it would work. (If your pump is behind the trailer tongue, like most were.) The ones with a manual lift have a "slot" cut in the plastic container behind the tongue, so the "jack" handle can be inserted and jacked, to raise the camper.

The pumps are still being made, so contact the company that makes the HiLo pump to see if the manual pump can be purchased and bolted on. I found their web site and downloaded the pump parts manual. From what I can see the manual pump is a add on to the pump that does not have it. Also Northern Tool sells an almost identical pump with the manual pump.
