Rebuilding bathroom walls.
You spoke about wanting to build the BR walls as one solid piece. Not sure how that would work. I remember someone on the Yahoo HiLo chat grout did a file/pictures of his shower area modification. Seems he bent pieces of plastic trim to deflect the water off the walls. Maybe later I can look up the link for you. Got to go and put spar urethane on a captains chair that was refinished for the therapeutic horseback riding program.

I agree with the rest, great job Gary. Maybe you should start a side business refurbishing trailers!

Thanks everyone for the compliments and no, I don't think I would want to do this as a side business. It seems I spent the whole last year doing nothing but working on the camper. Didn't even get a fishing license this year. Now I said I wouldn't post anymore photos of the rebuild, BUT, I made a you tube photo video of the rebuild if anyone is interested in seeing from beginning to end. It's here

You tube video
Enjoyed the you tube video. I'm with you on not wanting to refurbish trailers as a side job. It takes too much time!!!! Would rather be out camping, relaxing.

Great video, enjoyed it. Yeah I was kidding around about the side business, you do have some good wood working skills and should be proud of the work you completed. Hats off to ya.

Hi Gary, I have enjoyed following your rebuild from the beginning. I must commend you on the great job you have done.
I am having to rebuild the corner panel beside the door, and am wondering where you found your styrofoam.
Thanks in advance, Richard ror007 @aol. com

Door repair.
When we did our rebuild on our 1990 HiLo Classic the styrofoam sheets came from Home Depot. They were 1inches thick. We found them in the isle with the rolls of insulation.

Like Sam, I bought mine at either Home Depot or Lowes. Just make sure you get 1" plain Styrofoam and not the stuff that has a plastic sheet covering.

Wall repair
Thanks Sam and Gary, don't know why but I hadn't considered either place.
By the way Gary the pictures of the paneling you used look like the same pattern of that in our 2003, might just come out smelling like a rose, if I can match the paneling.
I would love to speak a few kind words to the original owner, he apparently allowed a leak to go for some time, then when he got ready to sell the trailer, he had someone glue a new piece of paneling over the damaged area so it didn't show till the rot and mold started coming through the cover skin a few months back.

Wall repair
I hate that when someone is deceptive and takes advantage of an inexperienced buyer. The bottom line is your wall is repairable. Would JR have have the matching paneling you need?
