Default Hanging by a thread

Because we've got more big rain headed our way I decided to close up the camper. While walking the outside (to insure all was clear there) I observed a string hanging thru the upper/lower box. Then I remembered earlier that one of my window blinds looked crooked, not coincidentally from the same area.

Back inside I saw where one of the two left hand "guide strings" was the culprit. I pulled it back inside and closed up the top.

Q: is this the end of the world, or is this easily repairable? I could easily ignore it but I suffer from an inquiring mind.

Default Fixing blind cord

I believe you tube has a video on fixing blind cords. It is very rainy and windy here in Niagara Falls,NY The temp is only going to be 58 on Sunday and Monday. Bur back with the furnace on. Thankfully we are going to have four nice days of 70 degrees later in the week. DH is going to make it a priority to put two top coats of rubber roof treatment on.

Default Ah huh ...

so you expect me to find the link and do the work? I was hoping someone would come over and fix this for me; preferably before the weekend as we're again going camping overnight Sat.

Our coldest (so far) was a brisk 69 degree morning; almost time to break out the long sleeves/leggings. Thankfully todays rain was a bit of a no-show washout (so far). I guess it could get messy tonight - but not likely.

Free beer to the one who shows up to repair my window blind! Beer and a heartfull bearhug if you also mow the grass - which I neglected today.
