Default Happened to anyone?

Camper rasied up to full height on it's own while driving. After a 400 mile trip back home about 1 mile from home looked back and she was in the full up position. Looked under camper nothing seems to be out of sorts.

That's bizarre! Did you have the master switch in the off position? Was there something against the switch that could have pushed it? Was there anything in the battery/pump box that could have shorted across the solenoid terminals?

Rich hit it "that's bizarre"
I suggest you remove the battery connection until you figure out what happened.
Now this is a thread to follow!
Could be so simple or ???????????

Default Found it!!

The last minute in packing up I placed a piece of wire in the battery box. Which then shorted across the solenoid terminals. Duh don't do that anymore. So I also learned the safety bar does not stop it from going up.
Nothing was damaged and lesson learned. thanks for the thought. Don

You're right, the safety bar has no function when raising the top. It is there to keep the top from dropping in case of a mass failure of the hydraulics. You do not need to pull the cable when raising, in fact, by not holding the cable out you can hear the safety bar drop into place when the top nears the upper limits. That's a good sound you want to hear.
