Question Hi lo trouble going up

The tank behind the battery is empty is that for hydraulic fluid. We couldn't get it down earlier now we did and it want go up . The cord you pull was stuck . Thank you

Welcome to the Forum!

The tank should be almost empty when the top is up and should be almost up to the fill port when the top is down. Use Dexron transmission fluid. Add it only with the top down or you could have an overflow problem. The safety catch may release easier if you try to raise the top slightly to take the weight off the catch.
