Default hilo stink pipe

new to forum 2005 27 t . has any one ever replaced the upper section of the stink pipe. it is the black pipe that goes from the black water tank to the roof vent. My upper section broke the flange off. Top section of new pipe is to long to go into bottom section of black pipe. i would like to know if I would have to remove the the vent pipe cover on top outside on the roof to replace it.

The connecting nut should be loose enough to where the pipe slides into the other pipe. Contact JR Repair if it is giving you a problem. They are very helpful.
