Default hilo to just ""hi"?

Upon gutting the walls, i am seeing a lot of damage to the lower support bar of the upper half. the front window passenger side has completely rusted through that the vertical beams are no longer connected to the bottom horizontal beam. i have no clue how that corner is getting raised since the bottom beam is twisted/ing everytime i raise/lower the top.
So my question- has anyone made thier "Hilo" into a perm "hi"?
I would assume that the support for the top could be made from the front and the rear of the trailer frame, but is there anything that can be done with the sides?
the picture is what all four vertical supports looks like

you should be able to replace (or have it replaced) the bottom and the beam
