Default History of Hi Lo Makes and Models

Is anyone aware of a comprehensive history of all the various makes and models of the Hi Lo trailers, and the various design changes and improvements over the years. I know such compilations exist for the Airstream trailers, and certainly the Hi Lo brand merits the same sort of biographical treatment and pride of ownership. It would certainly be of great use for persons looking to buy one, and also for current owners.

Search 50 years of Hi-Lo.... That's about the best you're gonna get.

Here you go:http://www.hilotrailerforum.com/f52/50-years-hilo-1663/

You have to keep in mind that Hilo was a family owned and run business. I don't think they were interested in compiling information. It would be nice to have.

Default hi -lo history

i found a couple articles about the history by googling it. very interesting man don snyder was to start a camper company in the mid 50s with a proto type he designed for his family . it took off very well. he decided to makenthem full time for anyone to have and afford.
he sold the company in 2004 of 06 if i remeber correctly. and then the new owner closed the door in 08 . made in butler ohio one of the very best campers that were made and affordable. im a proud owner of an 84 funchaser.
