Default How often should I recaulk the windows, roof , etc???

My greatest concern on my 2002 Hilo is leakage causing water damage. I live in Colorado and the UV light is rough on the trailer. I have attempted to use covers however they just tear. Anyway I can see the seals around the window look like they are drying out ( I have re caulked them) and was wondering if folks just add a bead of sealant on a regular basis around all the seams of their trailers. Which caulk do you use?? How do I prevent leaks that would destroy the Hilo??
Do I really need to remove all the windows and reseal them and if so how hard is that?? Thanks

caito222,

I can only tell you of my experience with the windows on our 2406 T. I refer you to my post on April of 2012 and what I found and used to caulk the windows.

Just scroll down until you see my post with a few pictures of the condition of the window caulking after they were removed.

Good Luck
