If you have a Classic there should be a manual lift as standard equipment. It is like using a bottle jack. It will take lots of strokes but it will go up. There should be a jack handle for it somewhere and an access opening to get the handle into the jack lever. If you get it raised enough you can put jumper cables on to raise it the rest of the way. It must have a good battery to raise it and the converter will not do it alone.
