So- I have my 2201 in the drive with the retaining walls on each side----and I start to lower it having checked inside and outside to make sure nothing is blocking. And it gets hung up bad- and, of course, I have left the upper part of the door open at ninety degrees which catches the wall on the way down. I don't know know if I stopped it soon enough or what- but it didn't rip the door off.

I can't SEE any damage. siting down the curb side back to front with trailer up- I noticed that the front curb side rail angles down more than the back----but I'm not sure it wasn't always like that. The corner on the metal framing for the door was bent- but i straightended that with pliers. Goes up and down ok and seems to seal ok. Door opens and closes ok. Hopefully- I was just lucky after being incredibly stupid. If anybody has any thoughts of what to check out I'm all ears.

Keep trying to break it.

Trust me on this one we all have made bloopers. Try padding the retaining wall. Triple check your door before lowering.

You'll know if it's damaged when you tow it. Your door will most likely pop open while you are driving down the road.

when i lower mine, i use the door clip/holder/bumper on the side of the top section then i have the lower door half at a 90 . if you make sure the trailer is level, and you think that the top is not straight in alignment check your top to bottom seal when in the up position , if it is not the same all the way around then you need to adjust your cables. when you travel always use the cylinder lock so the door doesn't pop open
