Just brought our 1986 Funsaver 21' back from the scales... I drove over the scale, got the truck off the scale and weighed in at 3940 lbs.
Question - since I had my weight distribution hitch on, and the trailer hooked up - was some of the weight actually transferred to the car / not accounted for?
FYI - The owner's manual says this should be 3200 lbs and 350 on the hitch. I know I'm about 600 on the hitch. I have the optional air conditioner, spare tire, and awning, I think that adds 278 lbs. Previous owner added pine paneling, and two 40# propane tanks. I guess you add this all up, add the pots and pans, etc - and we're pretty close.
