My wife and I live near Cedar Rapids, Iowa and are looking to buy a 2810H or 2811H Hi-Lo but have not had much luck locating one. Would really appreciate a response if anyone knows of any near us. We found some several states away but do not really want to pay the delivery fee or drive that far.

A dealer in TX has both 2810H and 2811H listed on the above site. You may have to travel to get one, there weren't that many made. Keep in mind that Hi-Lo trailers will not have a warranty, the major appliances, etc. should still have warranties. You will need to get that information clarified and also factor that into the asking price.

Sorry about the 2011 model, I stand corrected. The dealer that sells a new trailer may offer some kind of warranty be sure to ask as RichR said.

new Hi-Lo

I really appreciate all the information.

I found one in Iowa near the Minnesota border who has a 2008 still new 18 foot. Stated MSRP was 21k probably sell for 15k. He had some 28s but sold them. He seemed like a really nice guy. Has some 27 foot used ones (2005 and a 2006) around $15k-16k.
Stenzels Campers

Found some in Texas.
Has a new 2011 28 foot. I asked for quote he said $53k seems way overpriced!!!
Stahmann RV

Still searching...

Searching for a HiLo

Look in the forum library for the brochures for different years and layouts. You have decide how many you need to sleep and match up the wt. of the trailer to your tow vehicle. HiLo has towlite models and Classic models. The classic models weigh more and have an upgraded interior, more storage. You must also decide new or used. This may help you with price guidelines www.NADA guides.com Someone mentioned that HiLo went out of business. Dealers seem to have some left over inventory. Seems like used units are available from private buyers and dealers. Keep us posted. We will be able to advise you on what to look for in a used unit. I agtree 53,000 seems like a high price. Read a book that said the mark up on RVs is 40%. We have many good experienced HTF members.
