Default Maintenance items

A member of our HiLo club told a story about when he went to pull the handle of his dump valve it broke off in his hand. Full tank and no way to dump until dealer could fix it. Dh went out and used dry silicone to lube both dump valves. They now are very smooth to operate. Our fiberglass sided HiLo has small black streaks on it. I made the assumption that the fiberglass was wearing out. It was brought to my attention that I needed to use something like brillo pads and it would remove the blackness. I experimented with a magic sponge and some all purpose cleaner. It worked except it required elbow grease. I will use a flat blue scotch guard no scratch pad and Bar keepers friend. I got the pads at HomeDepot and Barkeepers friend can be purchased at Walmart. Washing the RV with a micro rag or carwash sponge doen't get out deep dirt. Then I will have to rewax with Gel Gloss. Item number 16 on my to do list. 23 items completed. If someone suggests work for you to do they should be required to helpout!!
