Default New Corona Virus update /travel.

Our Governor in New York state has gotten together with a few surrounding states to set up mandatory two week quarintine if you come from states with a high corona outbreak. The world news listed at least ten states that have high corona outbreraks. Just so you can adjust your travel plans accordingly. I only travel in NYS. I would think they would have you stop at weigh stations for temp checks and a series of questions. I personaly wouldn't want to travel anywhere and then waste two weeks inside my RV.

Hi Sam, that is good information for our group, didn’t hear that in the news. I live in NJ, state with second highest case count. Our location is very rural with low case counts. Quarantined at home since March 15. Only occasional trips to food store. On June 5th drove to central PA, unwinterized and started Upgrade projects where the 2203 is stored in a friends barn. Spent 3 nights at the local army corps campground, very spacious sites. Stay 10’ away from anyone I see, frequently sanitize hands, and wear mask when food shopping and getting gas. Even though many states are reopening and I now see restaurants with lots of patrons, I plan to continue quarantine in place (the hi-lo) , our own car and truck, and home for a few more months. We are both 65, retired, and concerned about COVID-19, it will be interesting to see how the pandemic numbers change in the upcoming weeks and months. Sure hope a vaccine is getting close, our children are clinical pharmacists and wife was rn at outpatient surgery center. When that shut down March 15, seemed like the perfect time for retirement.
Stay safe fellow Hi-lo’rs !

Default It is a scary world out there at this time.

DH is 74 and retired and in good health. I am 63 and have several factors with my health that make me imunocompromised. Doing all the recommended precautions. I see 98% of folks wearing masks in stores as our governor has mandated this. Glad you were able to retire and stay at home for the most part. So glad the weather is nice and we can work on our outside to do list. DH is going to go over every inch of the HiLo and recaulk as needed. Stay safe all our forum friends.
