Default Have one myselfe

I have a 2693RD myself, I love this floor plan, HiLo used the space effeciently in this one and gotta love the full size queen bed.
The best tip that I can give is to enjoy it of course. Post some pics so we can check it out!!

Welcome to the Forum! I hope you have a great time with your new toy. The best advice I can give you is to give great attention to the maintenance of the lift system and to check all over and especially the roof for properly sealed joints to prevent water leaks. There is lots of info here covering both subjects. Your questions will bring lots of answers, so ask away.

Default Branchman New HiLo owner.

Welcome to the forum! We also love are HiLos!! Enjoy your new hobby. Take the time to read back posts for maintenance items. Most important. Seal your roof, lubricate cables and check every inch of the trailer at all seams to see what needs to be recaulked. Lexell caulk is the best. Available at ACE hardwear or on line. It is recommended after ten yrs. to remove all windows/reinstall using butyl tapeon round edge of window and reinstall. Use Lexell caulk where the edge of the window meets the fiberglass siding. While the window is out you will be able to tell the condition of your interior walls. I did a post on doing this. It is something you can do yourself. See under off topic 1990 HiLo Classic restoration. Butyl tape either wasn't available or not used at the time of factory manufacturing. When you get a chance post pictures. We have a HiLo camping club in NY. It is called HILOVE NY. Our campout is scheduled at SOUTHWOODS RV RESORT IN BYRON NY. SEPT.7th&8th 2012. Some of us come a day early and stay a day later. Just look them up on the WEB and call and make your own reservation. Would love to have you come. Then we could help you out with any maintenance questions. Our service advisor comes and will help answer questions/do minor repairs. If any of our HiLo friends from PA would like to come you are most welcome. Potluck on Friday and Sat eve. I'll have to look on a NY map to see where you are located.
