Welcome, keystone! The refrigerator is not like the one in your house. It uses ammonia to cool the inside and it reaches a cool state very slowly - I allow 24 hours for mine if I'm running it on AC (house current) power. It cools more efficiently on propane, but even then it will cool down slowly. Use DC power ONLY when traveling. It will drain your trailer battery FAST.
You might find a manual for your refrigerator elsewhere in this forum, or, if you can determine the make and model number, online after a search.
I can't help you with your grey water blade valve. Most are just plug and play. I'd be reluctant to change the mounting seats on your pipes though - you might end up having to replace them and that would be a big job involving putting a new one into the tank. I think I'd look for a Greentec valve. Other members may have better advice, so stay tuned.
