Looks new, and I believe he did work at Hi-Lo. Looks like we have another place for parts and repair. Good find.

It would be really cool if they created an online parts catalog! Wonder if they have any kind of a collaborative relationship with JR... they are prolly close to each other geographically.

They will probably be competitors of each other, wouldn't think there would be enough business for 2 HI-LO parts and repair places.

The hiloparts.com is a start up business. I talked to the guys at the old J&R facility yesterday and he told me another guy was starting up a repair business but the new guy has no experience in actual repair of HI Lo's. He was a manager at the old HI Lo plant but did not actually work on the line.

The new business is not to be confused with the old J&R repair. I have no dog in this hunt, J & R just happened to call me as I had called them and asked some questions about getting a new seal on my unit and he gave me a courtesy return call to see if all me questions had been answered.

Wow! Funny how the internet can fool you. I would stick with J and R if that is the case. Wonder what Tom Stacey thinks about the new startup.

I do not know the former manager of the Hi-Lo plant but I do know Jim and Rob (J&R) and they have done work on my camper as well as did Rob's father-in-law (Greg) before his untimely death, when the busness was J & R Enterprises. I also was at the auction the day Hi-Lo auctioned off everything and I saw Jim and Rob buying what they felt their business would need to be able to supply their customers. They also have secured the sole right to distribute the lift cables that Hi-Lo used and are working to get access to the other suppliers that Hi-Lo bought from. So for Joel to say he bought the remaining stock of inventory from Hi-Lo is completely untrue, because many people, including myself bought things at the auction.

It is my understanding that Joel removed items from the factory prior to the auction. ????

They are located in Butler, Ohio, in the original HI-LO factory building before HI-LO moved to a new larger building. They are also the original HI-LO repair place.
