2006 manufactured Hi-lo. Converter is shot. Suggestions on where to find Elx-45 Power Converter? Or suggestions on how to replace?

I don't think you'll find an Elixir converter anymore. They are no longer made. I replaced mine with a Progressive Dynamics converter and the thread I wrote on the replacement is here: https://www.hilotrailerforum.com/f28/elixir-converter-replacement-7659/ It was actually pretty simple once I figured out the mistake I'd made and documented in the thread.

Others have replaced theirs with a Boondocker converter, but I don't think the wiring is quite as straightforward.

Either one is a good replacement though, and I've had NO problems since installing the PD converter. You can find either one online.

Where to get a new converter.

WWW>Best Converter.com A real person will answer the phone. The model you have now is no longer made. Great customer service. Ships out quickly. Even when you are installing a Tech is available to answer your questions. Search the internet for the best price. What you pay for the converter is a good deal. Price plus the number of years it lasts.1-888-828-1893.

Welcome to the forum.

Had to look up where Chestertown,NY is. My grand parents on my Mothers side had a cottage near Glens Falls,NY. I believe their house was in Hudson falls. Tell us what size HiLo you have"? Is it a Classic or a Towlite? What is your tow vehicle.

Sorry for the delay. It is a Towlite 22'. 50th Anniversary edition. I tow it with Toyota Tacoma 6 cyl.

I have an rv repair person working on it, but having trouble. Is there any possible way to contact you directly? I live in Adirondack mountains and need this completed so I can get put away for winter.

The new inverter is installed as of today! Thank you all for your assistance. The camper is in such great condition and clean inside and out. Very torn about keeping it or selling it. It's just gotten to be a lot for me to handle on my own. If anyone is truly interested in purchasing, let me know. It's actually a 2007 22' towlite, 50th Anniversary edition.

Thanks for the update.

Glad you got the converter installed. Did you get it winterized.? I hear you about being able to keep up with preventive maintenance and repairs. DH is 78 and I am 68 with a laundry list of health problems. I can't have my knee replaced until March of 2025. In the mean time I am very limited with house keeping ect. I had the other knee replaced. It is nice to have no pain after surgery recuperation. I am grateful My Cardiologist was able to fix my heart. If you can't sell the HiLo now perhaps spring would be a better time.
