Default Time wise it appears I'm right on your heels

I'm hoping they decide to stay in the hotel and not drag me along. I'll google it for grins however.

Default OK, Call me a Cheap Charlie

I just checked out the Disney camp site. Their cheapest is $73/day DURING THE OFF SEASON.

Snow White and/or Cinderalla would have to personally cook/ clean/ valet/ wash & wax the vehicles/ groom the hounds before I'd consider that.

My bride just yawned and resumed computing; Silly woman!

If you add up the costs of staying outside the park, paying parking fees to get in and your cost to drive there, the $73 doesn't look bad at all.

Default In my mind

that's outrageous. A week long cruise is cheaper than a week camping there.

Yeah, but who wants to cruise a creek in Alabama in a bass boat for a week!?!

Default I gotta give you tremendous attaboys for that one!

I'm still chortterling (sp?) over that response.

But seriously, my bride has taken many cruises (out of La., Miss, Mobile, and Florida) and they've not run to that kind of money. Yeah, I too once did those cruises - but tired of them. I now stay at home and wish her (and girl-friends) bon-voyage, see you next week.

Then me and the hounds run wild, drinking beer and eating BBQ.

Just yanking your chain Wrascal. The wife & I have done the big cruise routine and did the Disney World bit. Now that they are scratched off our bucket list, we just tow our HiLo wherever we want. Have a good one.

Default Cheap hotels?

Hey 69 hi-lo,
When the wife and I went to Orlando a while back, we didn't find anything cheap. Our grand kids have been hinting that now since Paw-Paw has a trailer, wouldn't it be fun to go to Disney World. I remember last April when we went to Sarasota to buy the "beast", one night in a motel, tow gas and two nights in RV parks (Good Sam discount included) it cost us almost $700.00 for the trip. F-150 gets 12 to 13 mpg pulling our 3389b. I don't mean to rain on anybody's parade, but where we come from and being retired, that's a lot of money.

Great minds think alike; occasionally us dim bulbs come to the same conclusion.
