Smile Rear window air conditioner installation

This is to those who asked about the measurements to install an air conditioner above the rear window. Now my info. comes from a manual to my 78 not sure if it will work on newer models.from the exterior cut out the opening above the rear window.the opening size is 19 3/8" wide x 12 5/8" high the opening is framed with 1" steel tubing. next insert the air conditioner from the interior of the trailer.next drill 5/32" holes (located by the mounting flange) and attach with 14 - 1" x #10 type A screws. next caulk around exterior opening and attach 1/2" x 5/8" angle trim 9 - 3/4" x#8 type A screws. there are illustrations but don't know how to post them here, maybe i could e mail them to whoever needs them. one shows that the outside of the framed area for the air is 36 1/2" from outside sides of hi-lo to outside of framed opening.inside the framed opening it has arrows pointing up & down with this measurement 12 5/8" it also shows a measurement of 29" from bottom of the top to the bottom of the installed air con.mounted in framed area.that's figure A. figure B shows a side view of the air con. installed with a measurement of 11 1/2" distance measured from the back of the hi-lo just above the installed air to the back edge of the air con.figure C shows a rear view of the air con. installed and to put the 1" x #10 screw into mounting flange on top of air con. with arrows pointing to the top left of air con.figure D shows exterior trim 3/4" x #8 screw arrows point on top of mounted air con.hope this helps . i wrote it as its written hope its not to confusing, the illustrations will help & show its no big jog.so write me and ill try to take a picture of the page and send it to you.....
