Default Replacement Toilet Water Valve

I have a 1992 HiLo the Toilet water valve in the back of the toilet is leaking.I could not find a brand on my toilet or any paperwork on it in the Manuel. Are most of the valves standard. Mine has the pull to fill and flush handle on the side by the toilet seat. I found several valves on the amazon site. Thetford Water Module fits aqua magic V hi and low models. Any suggestions.

Default Post a picture of the part you need to replace.

Is this a Classic or a Towlite?

MomaC, There should be a sticker/label on the backside of the toilet near the floor. If you have a phone with a camera, now is the time to use it. It is probably a Dometic 300 model.

I I will try to get a snapshot behind it to show the part and hope to find the sticker.I am sure it's coming from that valve in the back of the toilet. Are the toilets hard to put back after they are removed for repair.I am new to working on The plumbing. Thanks For The Reply.

Not hard at all to remove/replace. There are two nuts (one on each side) at the floor to remove and unscrew the water line. Make sure water is turned off. Have a towel handy just in case. Replace the foam seal on bottom of toilet. Just reverse the procedure to reinstall. Have someone sit on the toilet seat as you tighten the nuts. Good luck.

Default Take your toilet apart as was suggested.

Take the part to an RV place. Get a new seal and reinstall. Once you determine the make you might be able to get a tutorial on you tube. The porcelin toilet in my 1990 Classic is a sealand. I'm not at the RV to give you the model #.
