I have a 2000 30' HiLo and the roof needs to be replaced. Is that something a diy'er should tackle. If not what would be the normal replacement cost I could expect to pay at a shop. Assume there could be about 30% wood frame and interior panels need ng to be replaced.

Roof replacement

I would guess that any dealer would charge so much per foot. It has got to be expensive. What type of roof do you have? Get an estimate from an Rv place. This usually motivates the DIY in you. Depends how handy you are and if you want to invest the money and time to DIy. I'm sure several of the HTF members have done this repair.

Most of them are rolled and crimped metal trailer siding, I have heard of a few being rubber.
There were a few people who had wall relamination quoted and it was pricey, in the thousands, so I bet the roof won't be far behind that if not more, personally I would tackle it myself. I have a delaminated area on my roof that needs attention and that will most likely be a winter project this year.
Like Sam advised, try the local rv dealer or give JR Repair a call if you would like the original metal at 419-883-3001.
