Default spare tire holder

hi just bought 2006 17" dealer put spare tire holder on that blocks brake light. I am looking for factory tire holder. nuts are welded to bumper, so just need tire holder part. had a funlite many, many yrs ago, this one pulls just as easy.

Welcome to the Forum!

I think this is identical or close to the HiLo standard equipment:
Universal Rigid Tire Carrier - Stromberg Carlson TR-1 - Tire Accessories - Camping World

You may be able to do a Google search and find one elsewhere.

I found one at Amazon.com:http://www.amazon.com/Stromberg-Carl.../dp/B002SSKFWU

I just checked our trailer and the back plate is welded to the bumper and the mount bolts to it. So it is not quite the same as those online.

Default spare tire holder

mine is like Rich R & that is type I'm looking for. the dealer put on the amazon mount but it only fits in front of brake light. does not fit factory holes> I may have to have someone weld something

If the plate on the mount is big enough, drill new holes to match the bumper.
