Default stabilizer's for a 78 - hi-lo

just want some feed back on an idea. i used to own an apache and still would if for not falling in love with my 78 h-lo . anyway on the apaches there stabilizers are attached to the camper. just tug them out of closed position and down . once down theres a little bar used to crank stabilizers leg up or down my reason is there in place set and ready to go no need for storing them or forgetting them. you can buy the stabilizers for $ 25.00 a piece and crank bar $5.00 plus having them welded in place on each corner of the camper. i dont know they worked great on the apache. anyone have any thoughts on this or see any holes in my idea ???
