Default Stolen Hi-Lo

I thought I should pass this on from a Hi-Lo Yahoo member. She has had her 1709T Hi-Lo stolen from the Public Storage in Plano, Texas. Stolen around December 22-24. Vin # ***********59086 and Texas tags 5XC955. If you spot it kindly call the police first and then email Barbara @ mooreacres@yahoo.com. Many thanks to all and happy new year to every member!

WOW! Makes me think twice about camping at a city park in Lewisville, which is not that far from Plano. We camp there and drive to Plano to visit with our daughter.
And yes, Happy New Year to everyone.

Default stolen HiLo

So sorry to hear this. We keep a very expensive specific lock on our trailer tongue. It is made by Masterlock. If a theif wants our RV they are going to have to work to steal it. Hopefully she had insurance.

This is the tongue lock I use. But, like they say, a lock will only keep an honest person honest....

Ruben, that's a nice looking hitch lock, but - the Chinese "high security" padlock on it is dead easy to pick, according to the videos I've seen online. In fact, almost ANY padlock is easy to pick.

I think you have to spend upwards of $100 to get a "pick-proof" padlock (at least that's the number I remember from studying this subject a year or so ago.

Mine is one of these: Shopping And, I suspect its lock is probably easy to pick also.

I use a Master combo lock but if someone wants it bad enough they're gonna get it. I have a lock like in you link but it just doesn't seem like it fits just right.
