Default Time for new AC

We have a 19 foot 2007 HiLO with a Dometic 600 series penguin Roof Top AC that needs to be replaced. Would like to upgrade to a quieter more efficient unit with minimal protrusion in the ceiling. Any suggestions?

When and if mine ever goes bad, this will be my next AC. Atwood Air Command This AC is supposed to be able to run off of a 2000 watt generator like the Honda EU2000i.

I personally bought a nice portable unit and ran the exhaust permanently through the wall. Much less expensive, runs on a quite 2000 watt generator, cools the 21 footer, gets better mpg without the big box on the roof, and is easier on the lift without all that weight up there. Takes up about the same room as a kitchen garbage can.

Its all about watts. A 2000 watt HONDA generator is good for around 1600 watts constant (I think). My buddy bought a window unit that pulls ~1100 watts which works out to around 10 amps. The HONDA will do 13.5 amps constant so he has no problems on his little home made camper.
One must keep in mind that watts is power and, generally speaking, the more watts the more cold air produced.
