Default top stuck in up position

I have a 1981 HiLo 14' I think and cant get it to lower so I can tow it. It seems to be stuck on something after lowering about an inch. What do I need to look for or at?

Did you pull on the safety catch cable next to the lift switch? That is what holds the top up if the lift cylinder fails.

If it doesn't go down after pulling the safety cable, you may need to go up again then pull the cable and it should go down.

Default Charge the battery!

Hey Jman325,
Be sure the trailer is either plugged in or the bettery is charged. The solinoid needs some power to operate and let the top down. Some models also have an emergency handle that will allow you to lower it. CAMP ON!
