Default Value of a 1992 22' HI-LO?

Here is the story. Trailer has been in "deep" storage outside for 12 years - not moved. Short of it - long divorce (5 years) and then other factors came into play. Trailer was covered for probably half of the deep storage period.

The Good. No leaks in the trailer at all. Inside looks like new - not a scratch - nothing. Outside cleaned up really nice although probably could use a paint job and new decals. Florida sun has taken a toll on them.

Now the bad. Tires are shot, A/C is no longer working, awning is probably gone, gas tanks cannot be filled - old style need to be replaced, both batteries dead and those are the knowns. Right now cannot even raise the roof to see if the lift system is working.

So I have a friend at the gym - offers me $850.00 "as is" to take it. Guess he has property in N. GA and needs another trailer onsite.

Anyone have an idea of a trailer in this condition is worth?

Not considering any options and not sure of the exact model NADA shows $2080 as average retail. Considering the work that needs done maybe $850 isn't bad.

I cannot find a Model number on any of the paperwork (I am the second owner and have all the original paperwork) - but I am pretty sure you nailed it. Says on the outside of one of the folders from the dealer - Fun Chaser 22.

I have seen a couple same year - same model and inside layout/options - on dealer websites asking $4 to $5K - but then again - they are dealers with a markup. Hopefully at that price everything has been checked out and either repaired/replaced.

I would keep the trailer if I had a place to work on it. That is my biggest problem. I cannot bring it home (Deed Restricted) and I cannot work on it where it is stored.

I will miss it. For the 5 years I got to use it - it was a great trailer!

Interesting, this is the reason that I bought a Hi-Lo. The covenants in my neighborhood prohibit RVs, large trucks, etc that can be seen above a fence/gate from street level. My Hi-Lo is parked next to my house, behind a gate. I raise it to work on it, load it, etc, but I put it back down when I'm done.

My deed restrictions do not allow for trailers to be parked on site anywhere. They pretty much enforce it.

I bought a 1987 22' voyager for $700 in the same condition. $850 is a decent price. offer high and work from there, say $1500 cash. might get $1000 that way

Question selling price

inside looks great...maybe if you put jumper cables on it from your truck the roof can be raised... I only have one battery and it worked once on mine??? can you plug into electric??
