Default Water connect

Good morning
We are on our first extended stay in our 1995 26rd. We love it!

The question I have relates to the public water connection
When not connected to public water and the
Pump is on, water runs out of the public connection.
Not a strong flow but a flow nonetheless

Any ideas.......thanks in advance

The check valve inside the public water connection is bad or has something in it.

Carefully remove the screen from the connection and then with a finger tip or screwdriver press in on the check valve. It should spring back and close, it may only be stuck in the open position. If that doesn't work you may have to replace it.
