Default What is this switch for?

Above the bathroom sink there is a cabinet and then above that there is a switch. It is the same type of switch that is for the porch light and other interior lights. It doesn't turn anything on or off though. Do you have this switch? If so, what does it control.

Thanks,
Cheryl

Default Mystery lt. switch in BR

With out a picture I would have to guess. It could be for BR lts. or the switch for the Br exhaust fan.

I have 2 switches on my bathroom overhead, one turns on outside light, the other will shut off power to the 2 bathroom overhead lights, that are actually under same cabinet.

Cheryl,

I suspect that the light switch over your cabinet is for the light inside the shower.
