Default what water heater was used on the 2010 model year

I have a 2510 hilo, I have it parked at a different location and I was thinking of buying a electric water heater kit which works on atwood and suburban water heaters but not american

Our 2310H has an Atwood. LP/DSI/Electric was standard on ours, it should be on yours as well. You shouldn't need an electric kit. If you have two switches on the control panel it has an electric heat element.

Just curious, what's wrong with a HWH from a 2010 RV? I just replaced mine - from a 1990...

Just food for thought... you said you have it "parked" does that mean you stay in it all the time there?

Electric HWH is great if you "camp" and don't have to pay for electricity... the propane side heats up the water faster than a heating element running off 110v...

Edit; I misread... your adding the electric to it, thought you were replacing it.

ah - propane last longer... I'm living in mine and use propane for the fridge, HW and furnace... plus cooking.

With 2 30# tanks, using the fridge and HWH it goes just a tad over a month - $27 for a refill. Automatic switch over valve - one tank empty - runs on the other. The new HWH should do better, it runs much less than the old one did.

Fridge doesn't cool as good on elec...
