Question Where Can I Find a Shower Curtain?

We've had our 1985 HiLo Voyager for almost a week and are close to being ready to use it! However, it doesn't have a shower curtain or a privacy curtain for the bedroom. Where can I get a shower curtain, and where can I get a privacy curtain? Looks like the tracks for these are the same.

Thanks,
Ed & Deb

Default Replacement shower curtain

I just bought a shower curtain at walmart. They have plastic curtains and clear liners. I bought fabric shower curtains at walmart. Dollar stores have cheap shower curtains. Keep in mind that you may just want to shower at the campground.

We used the shower one time and have never used it again, to small and the shower curtains suck into your body, however some people use them. Most camp grounds have showers and if your boon docking you run out of water right away.

For the shower curtain. We actually use 3 curtains. For 2 of them, we chose plastic pvc curtains that were weighted at the bottom. We cut 2 inches off the bottom and they work perfectly. We overlap them by 3 links at the seams, with the opening away from the shower head.

the 3rd curtain is a lightweight plastic that we run behind the others to make sure and keep water off the woodwork and wallpaper.

campthewestcoast, I am trying to install something similar to your setup. Do you happen to have a picture that shows how the 3rd plastic sheet is attached?

Gus,

sorry, no pictures at this time.

We take the 3rd shower curtain, and put it in the shower curtain hooks along the back and side walls. We then take the 2 weighted curtains and use the same hooks but put them on the inside of the other curtain if they overlap.

The centerpoint of the 1st curtain is behind the showerhead and the centerpoint of the 2nd curtain is the middle of the back wall. We then lap the inside curtains so the opening is away from the waterflow.

I still carry solar showers. Heat up water on shove then fill bag with hot and cold water until it is just right and then I use that in the stall. Saves my tank water and gives me privacy while I am at it.

Like campthewestcoast, I use plastic shower curtains from walmart. I cut the bottoms so they ride just above any standing water in the bottom of the shower. I found 2 is enough for me however I want to add an aditional shower hose to what I have so it can extend down under the shower curtain. As is, the hose pulls the shower curtain up and water can get behind it if I'm not careful.

Smile Shower Curtain

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I now have an idea of how I want to "create" a shower curtain.

Thanks,
Ed & Deb
